Tuxedo Online This is why Ordering is NOT so great

Tags :

Tuxedo Online. Thanks to the internet, many common everyday things have been made very convenient. Nowadays you don’t have to leave your house to get some things. Simply place an order online and it gets delivered to your doorstep. All within a few clicks. But like everything else in life, there are downsides to it. You think you know those downsides already? Take a few minutes to read this.

Ordering clothes online are the newest trend in clothing sales. There may be some benefits to ordering online but there are also many drawbacks. One of the biggest pitfalls when ordering online is fitting issues. You just can’t replace the great fit of a shirt or pants that have been tried on in person. In most cases, no matter how hard you try you are going to run into some trouble with the fit of the attire. If you can try the item on in person you will know right away whether or not you should buy whatever it is you are contemplating.

Ordering online

Ordering online, not always good. Scary

You want to make sure that your clothing fits just right to pull off that perfect look. If not you may end up with an odd looking fit that might be embarrassing. It is important to be able to tell exactly how your garment will fit because everyone’s body and shape is different. One size does not fit all. You need to go to a brick and mortar locations that can help you create the look that you are after. Even though online purchases may seem quite attractive, don’t be fooled into thinking that you will get the same quality and fit that you would get from a reputable local business. I just personally ordered a pair of men’s driving shoes online and they didn’t fit and a pair of jeans. Now I have the choice to save the company money and return them to one of Nordstrom’s local store or mail them back for free. I will return in person. I would have bought in person but my size’s were not in stock. shirt big

Another thing to consider is the fact that you may have to return your item. Returns are a hassle, especially if it is an online order. You have to repackage the items and pay to have it shipped back to wherever it came from, which was hopefully not out of the country. You should note also that many online sellers might have sketchy return policies or not even allow for them at all. There is no reason to have to go through all of the red tape and questions. Just go to your local store and buy the clothes the old fashioned way. Sometimes new is not always better. At Rose Tuxedo we here this all the time and usually it’s at the last minute or a few days before the event. It happened last week and I have the recorded message from the customer and that’s what gave me the idea to write this blog. He said all the online Navy Blue Suit rentals he ordered for his guys in the wedding had size issues. Of course I helped him out, nice guys.woman_in_too_big_clothes_large

Make sure that you are spending your money wisely and buy your new wardrobe pieces in person. Don’t rely on possible distorted measurements to judge your actual size. Not all places are going to measure like you will. Don’t be surprised, be sure to try your clothes on first. Save yourself aggravation and time by shopping the old fashioned way. Leave the online shopping for the things that you don’t have to worry about fitting into such as furniture and towels. Rose Tuxedo has your tuxedo and suits rentals in stock in Phoenix AZ with 3 valley locations to serve you. You don’t leave until you like the fit, tuxedo tailors in the stores and we can make alterations faster that you can wait. And, all this is usually done at a cheaper tuxedo rental price than your online tuxedo rentals and online suit rentals. Thanks and have fun shopping. No furniture or towels at Rose Tuxedo. furniture

You Too Can Look Like a James Bond Incarnate

Tags :

No other male outfit is so pleasing to the eye as a suit. Suits have been around for a very long time and don’t seem to be getting out of fashion, improvements are made to it and wow, I got say this because my love for suits has no bounds – suits are classy, graceful and elegant.

A suit or tuxedo can be the best investment a man can make. Renting or owning a tuxedo /suit opens the doors to many amazing costume ideas from your Super Spy alter ego to Bruce Wayne, Tony Stark, James Bond, or Barney from “How I Met Your Mother” and Harvey Specter in “Suits”. You’ll look great and everyone will think you’re loaded (figuratively in every sense of the word). Get your suit here for a great Halloween costume and something nice to wear to your cousin’s wedding you’re being forced to go to.

Like any good super spy or covert operations agent, you’ll need a suit or a tuxedo if it won’t draw extra attention to yourself. Don’t show up to a stranger’s wedding or a place of business in a full tuxedo—stick with a suit, maybe even leave the jacket or vest at home.

When picking out your super-spy suit, pick one that is fitted to your body type—this means you may have to have it tailored, but it’ll be worth it in the end. Wearing the right clothing will make you look leaner and more confident when you swagger around looking like James Bond and NPH had a baby.

Suit jackets and vests are great for hiding gear! Mobsters always find great ways to conceal weapons with fancy holsters from head to toe, so you can hide just about anything in the right suit. Hide a radio, recorder, intelligence sheets, and more on your person with jacket or vest pockets, garters, and more. Buy one of those fancy camera pens and put it in your coat pocket and use your Bluetooth headset to look like a busy professional while you’re actually getting information from home base! Or, you know, stalk your buddy to find out what he wants for his birthday.

From firearms to flasks, suit pockets are ideal for concealing items (Warning: smuggling guns or alcohol is dangerous and can cause legal repercussions, proceed with caution). From undercover police or legitimate spies to the average Joe at a “dry” event, a suit may be mildly inconvenient if you’re not used to it but between how amazing you’ll look to all of the ways you can use it to your advantage, it’ll be worth it in the end. Special belts with holsters, breast pockets, and more can hold nearly anything you can imagine. Tips for carrying weapons can just as easily work for other items—especially for covert operations! If dressing up for a costume party, skip the real guns and go with Nerf, paintball/airsoft, water guns, or other fairly-obviously fake weapons to prevent scaring anyone.

Nothing says a man has sense, got smarts, matured and is good natured and manly than a suit on him.

How to rock a Black Tie in Formal Wear

Tags :

Dressing for a black tie event can be a pretty daunting task for anyone who has never had the experience in the past. But if you’re someone who is used to wearing a tuxedo, you can already start experimenting with other options compared to the simple black tuxedo-white shirt combination. Just like its name suggests, you will need to wear a black tie along with your tuxedo.

Black Tie

Here are some important things you have to remember about black tie events:

Black tie is not formal dress appropriate

Commonly, people assume that black tie dressing is already the highest standard of dressing for men. In the past, however, black tie events consisted of very relaxed evening attire. Despite this common knowledge, the highest form of evening wear for men is a ‘white tie’ dress code. In terms of dress code, black tie events call for semi-formal evening attire. On the other hand, white tie refers to a similar yet distinct set of clothing for men.

Daytime wear is not black tie…. and should never be worn!

Nowadays, there are a number of people who wear tuxedos during the daytime for a photo op or in tourist attractions. Sadly, they’re doing wrong to the solemnity of tuxedos since these should only be for evening wear. The rule in wearing a tuxedo is that you dress for the end time of an event. If you will be attending a ceremony that calls for a tuxedo yet starts in the afternoon, think about the time that it will end. If it ends after dark, then it is appropriate to wear a tuxedo.

However, if you receive an invitation for a black tie dress code for a morning wedding, be a good guest and don’t contradict it.

When you’re wearing a black tie tuxedo, you are exuding an appeal that is worthy of the respect of other people. This is why you should treat your tuxedo with care at all times and follow the rules to black tie dressing. If you need to rent a tuxedo, make sure you check out our collection for one that you may wear. You’ll find that this is a great way you can look dapper and sharp for the event you are attending. If you need a tux rental in 85029 area Rose Tuxedo has one for you and if you need a suit rental near 85308 or 85306 we have one waiting for you. Black tie is all we do.

Summer Suit Fabrics

Finding the right fabric for the right season is always in style. What makes a summer suit fabric crucial for the season, is the weight and breathability. These days, more suit makers than ever are crafting half-lined or unlined blazers out of lightweight, open-weave fabrics. Wearing cotton all summer when wool-silk-linen blends actually breathe just as good is always an option. But stay away from Polyester all year round because they don’t last and they are cheap looking and most people can tell. A summer Arizona Wedding is going to be hot!! No matter if it’s inside all day just getting in and out of your car you will know. Once again a Tuxedo Specialist will help you and know the difference. summer wedding suits

Discount Men’s formal Wear

Why not?? Sure this is popular, everyone wants to save a few dollars these days and get the same quality service and products and the Men’s formal wear is no different. Shopping designer clothing from the assortment of Men’s formal is easy during the summer months. Most Tuxedo rental shops run specials all year long and all you have to do is ask them. They will even create a discount if you have a large wedding party sometimes. If you don’t ask you will never know. Here is an insider trick-tell them you saw them at the last Bridal show or a year or two ago and don’t have your discount flyer anymore and see what they can do. Shhhh. summer wedding suits

Flat front Pants

Most slim fit pants will always have a flat-front design and tight through the legs and taper slightly towards the bottom, ending in a smaller leg opening. The pants should be snug, about ½ inch of fabric when pinched between your fingers, but you should be able to move, dance and sit with no problems. They should sit comfortably at your waist and you should be able to fasten them without holding your breath or sucking in. Belts should be worn or suspenders but not to hold your pants up. I’m still a pleated pleat guy but I come from an older generations. They will be back but right now they are out.

Shopping local

When it comes to buying or renting clothing you want to be able to touch it and try it on before buying or renting it. Most places have tailoring available in house or can recommend a place. If you order online you don’t save anytime trying it on and you still have to spend time searching online and ordering it. So why not get out and save money on shipping a box with a tuxedo in it. Plus there is so much theft going on in neighborhoods you may never know if your package arrived. Stay tune for more Men’s formal Wear blogs on Tuxedo and suit trends, styles, fits and more.
