Gilbert: We’ve got your back at Rose Tuxedos

Tags :

Is your big day coming soon? Your prom? The day your get married? Or maybe you’re the best man? Are you the father of the bride or groom? Perhaps you have a job interview coming up. Could be you have an audience with the Queen.  Whatever the reason, there is only one place to go to get yourself dressed up in a very fitting formal wear for the best impression of yourself.  That is Rose Tuxedo Rentals.  In fact, there are several locations surrounding the Phoenix area: Central Phoenix, Northwest Phoenix, and Mesa. So, dear people of Gilbert, AZ, you are never far away when you need assistance with your celebration attire.

Having the correct ensemble for a special occasion is not always as easy as it may seem.  First there is deciding on the style.  Yes, tuxedos come in several styles. A gentleman has more choices than just black in today’s formal wear colors.  There are blacks, dove grays, and white choices, for example.  And, the style of the suit can also vary.  Some tuxedos and formal suits can have vests in a large choice of colors and styles. Neckties can also be chosen in myriad colors, textures, and forms.

This is why Rose Tuxedo is such a sought-after location for men who need tuxedos.  This company has been in business for over 30 years, so they know everything there is to know about celebratory fashion. In our more casual culture of the 21st century, most men have not invested in a formal suit or a tuxedo .  Therefore, when a momentous event requires their attendance, they are not prepared to go to their closets and find the correct clothing.  Call Rose Tuxedo, they can help, and they are as close as cell phone.

What about shoes?  Again, many men, young men in particular, may not own their own formal shoes.  In a wedding it is likely that the bride will want to have all the groomsmen wearing the same type shoe.  This is not a problem for Rose Tuxedo.  They rent formal shoes.  Their inventory is extremely large, so it is easy for them to alter a suit on the spot, and find a shoe in almost any size that is ever needed.

If you are new to tuxedo renting, or if you have been around this block many times before, you will find the service at Rose Tuxedo far beyond your expectations.  The staff is well-versed in the business of dressing men for special events.  They want their customers to feel comfortable;  find exactly what they want;  and leave feeling like a million bucks.  Naturally, there are consultants for the bride, as well. When she is coordinating her wedding and deciding on colors, flowers, and ambience of her wedding, someone will be there to assist her.  The wedding consultants at Rose Tuxedo are experienced and gracious.  They will also attend to the details of a graduation party or a Quinceanera.

Isn’t it nice to know that in our somewhat chaotic world, there is a place where others care and genuinely want to help?  That place is Rose Tuxedo.  All you Gilbert folks need to remember to go to Rose Tuxedo if you have a celebration coming up.  Meet the staff, and see for yourself that, as far as Rose Tuxedo is concerned, the customer comes first.

Tuxedo Style in Kanye West Wedding

Tuxedo Style in Kanye West Wedding

You’ve probably seen some photos from Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s recent wedding. While much of the focus is on what the bride wore, we can’t help looking at what the groom wore!

The couple had a two-day celebration that included plenty of wardrobe changes. For Kanye, this included multiple tuxedos and suits. One notable choice was the shirtless look he wore alongside Kim’s white women’s tux at their pre-wedding party at Versailles.

Tuxedo Kanye West

Here, Kanye wore a satin-lapelled cream tuxedo, which he paired with white shoes. This helped him stand out from the crowd as much as his wife-to-be did!

For the wedding itself, Kanye stuck with a more traditional choice. He wore a black tuxedo and bow tie, allowing Kim’s designer gown to shine as the center of attention. Of course, any groom looks great in a classic black tuxedo!

Arizona grooms can take a lesson from Kanye West. as more photos are made public, we’re sure the musician will be an inspiration for many grooms looking for a style for their wedding days.

should i hire a dj for my wedding

Should you hire a DJ or a band?

wedding bands

wedding bands

wedding dj

wedding dj

This is a question we here from Bride and Groom’s all the time. The simple answer people think is, if you can afford a band then why not. I’ve been too a lot of wedding’s over my years in the Bridal and Tuxedo business and I love live music but sometimes having a DJ is not only cheaper but you can keep the music going and have all the songs you desire played, and when you want them played.

Some songs do sound way better when played by a live band and you can’t beat the reaction of the guest when some songs are play. Very hard to create with a DJ but some DJ really interacts and tries very hard to get the guest in the mood.

When you hire a DJ you usually meet with them way before the wedding and share your desired music you want played. One of the downsides of hiring a band is they maybe limited with the selection of music they offer. They maybe a great band but they may not know much about 80’s music or current vibes.

What people also forget is when you hire a DJ you also get an Emcee kind of. Usually a good DJ will keep the guest involved and help with all the formalities that go along with weddings, like toast, first dance, bride and Dad dance and the throwing Garter and flowers.

Space for a DJ or Band is also a huge concern. If the venue is big then you can go either way but if you’re wedding reception is in your back yard it maybe too small for even a drum set and the neighbors may not like either.

Can you skip a DJ and Band and create your own playlist and let it rip? Sure. This may save you a lot of money but like my friend Tony say’s from System Mobile DJ in Phoenix, AZ, playing your own music always has it’s issues and have more to deal with during a wedding reception than keeping the music flowing.

At Rose Tuxedo in Phoenix and Mesa we can help make your DJ look good with a Tuxedo that matches your theme or a vest and bow tie. And of course we can take care of your entire wedding guest with the latest designer tuxedos, from the Grey Allure tuxedo to a Blue slate tux and even some old school Double Breasted suits. We have 3 locations to serve you and the best Fall Wedding Tuxedo rental prices and selection. Best wishes to all. We also have a preferred Wedding vendor page on our Rose Tuxedo web site that can help you choose a great DJ, Wedding Cake company and more.

Summer Tuxedo: 4 Options by Rose Tuxedo

Tags :

Summer Tuxedo

You young ones probably don’t remember this tune, but Frank Sinatra (you probably don’t know him either) 🙂 sang it in 1955.  Look it up, it’s pretty corny. But we digress.  What we are really here to do is assist you in learning all you need to know about gettsummer tuxedoing ready for the upcoming nuptials (yours, or someone else’s). Here’s something else you might want to look up. Where did the word nuptials come from?  It’s from the Latin for marry. But, again, we digress.  Here’s what you need to know about nuptial ceremonial dress.

The picture to the left is a picture of the bride and her groom, who happens to be wearing a Rose Tuxedo summer tuxedo.  You might be wondering what it is that is different about a summer tuxedo? Obviously, Arizona summers tend to be, well, hot. Temperatures dictate which weight or appropriately colored tuxedo is a good choice, since both help alleviate a bit of the intensity of the high temperatures.  Here are four options, which Rose Tuxedo can supply, that are going to look good on you and feel good in warm temperatures.

image_18_large1.  If the wedding is going to take place in a church, temple, or cathedral, that means you are probably going to need the traditional get-up.  That would mean suit or tuxedo in black or midnight blue; a white dress shirt; a black bow tie; a cummerbund, and black dress shoes.  Interestingly, it is not so much the weight of the fabric in a tux that makes it cooler, it is the weave. Loosely woven fabric is cooler because it allows for air circulation. Summer tuxedos, in order to be cooler, need to be about an 8 oz. twill, or an 8 oz. tropical material.

Tux812.  Let’s say you are going to a cutting edge wedding at a lovely wedding hall.  The invitation might say “black tie optional”.  That usually means that the groom will be wearing black tie, but he expects you to at least wear a tux. A single-breasted  basic tux with a tie will just the ticket for a night like this.  This one is going to make you look a little Daniel Craig-ish, which the gals will love.

image_15_large3. If you’re going to an outside wedding, or a poolside wedding, or even (lucky you) a destination wedding, the invitation might say “semi-formal”.  This means you can wear a handsome suit, and in Arizona or Belize, it can be tan in color.  Add a silk tie, a pocket handkerchief, and boat shoes or sandals, and watch the girls stare.

Tux914. For a breezy summer night, a dark suit is a great way to go.  You can pair it with a solid tie, casual cufflinks, a white linen shirt, and brown or black Oxfords.  Nothing looks better than a well-fitted suit, and not much can make you feel as handsome as you will in this combination.

Understand that we have given you suggestions.  In these days of casual and individual dress codes, you can often make your attire fit your personality.  Just be sure that you like the way you look, because you are going to look good after you go to Rose Tuxedo Arizona.
