How to convince your man to wear a Suit/Tuxedo to an event

Tags :

It gets frustrating trying to convince your man to wear a suit or tuxedo for an event when he’s so in love with his jeans and t-shirt. A lot of women have gone through this at least once in their lifetime. They’ve even wished there was a magic button they could press and make him see things the way they do. Well, you’ve found the button. It’s right here. In this article we’ll share with you some tips to convince your man to dress appropriately to an event.

If he cares about you, he’ll do anything for you. Let him know how much it would mean to you for him to wear a suit or tux (depending on the event). Don’t get pushy or whiney, but be confident in your decision. Tell him how handsome he’ll look and that you wouldn’t mind a little arm candy at your sister’s wedding. A little ego-stroking can go a long way.

Be subtle. If you blatantly tell him that his current suit doesn’t fit or isn’t appropriate for the event there’s a chance he’ll just get mad or defensive or he’ll just get generally hurt. Let him know how great he’d look in something different. “You’d look great in this suit,” is more effective than “you can’t wear the suit from your high school graduation, you’re 30.”

Don’t be pushy. When he’s eventually trying on proper attire, let him know what looks good. When he’s trying things on, don’t be afraid to let him try on something you didn’t pick out. He may know his physically attractive traits better than you think and he may surprise you by picking out the best suit in the place. While he is probably perfectly capable of picking out a good suit (especially with help from the associates in the store) he will appreciate your help, honesty, and compliments. Try on different things, but don’t force 12 different suit-jackets on him in the dressing room.

Give in a little. If you want him to wear a tuxedo but he honestly doesn’t care for them, it won’t be the end of the world to let him pick out a wonderful suit. If he doesn’t want to wear a bow tie, you won’t burst into flames if he picks out a matching neck tie. If he truly doesn’t want his shirt or tie to match your shoes and sash, maybe decide on a classic black/white combo or something that compliments your attire.

Don’t be afraid of getting it tailored. Many rental places will help create a custom-fit for a suit or tux and anything you purchase can be altered as much as you want. Every man is built differently so if there’s something that doesn’t quite fit perfectly, it can be easily fixed. If the funds are available, take your man to a tailor to ask about custom-made pieces. He will feel like a million bucks because the piece or entire outfit is literally made for him, and who doesn’t like feeling special?

Baby steps. If it’s his first time dressing in such attire, don’t throw him in the deep end. Start small. If you don’t need the entire outfit immediately, start with trying on a couple different outfits or maybe even piece-by-piece over a period of time. Don’t be afraid to let him explore on his own.

He is not a child. He is a grown man who should be able to figure out what looks best on him. Chances are, he was reluctant because he doesn’t want to spend money or he doesn’t realize how big of a deal the event is. Let him know respectfully your thoughts on the matter and he should realize how important said attire is and be eager to please and look his best, no matter the cost.

If money is an issue, rent the tux. If money isn’t an issue, rent the tux. Renting a tuxedo or suit is never a bad idea. Rose Tuxedo offers too many styles to count and if you like what you rent, you can buy it (or at least something close, and definitely something you can get tailored). Men’s Suits and Tuxedos: To Buy or To Rent?

Tags :

Who doesn’t want to look good? Who doesn’t want to give a good first impression? Who doesn’t want to impress his date? The questions could go on and on. And yes, a tuxedo or suit can transform any man to look his best.

A tuxedo or suit is always in fashion. They’ve been around for many years and they don’t seem to be making an exit. Every decade they undergo changes, upgrades or throwbacks but they remain the same: Suits and tuxedos.

Men's suit

Different types and quality of tuxedos and suits exists out there. As a result, they come with different price tags. Some are affordable, others are just oh-my-God expensive. Makes you wonder if they were crafted by the hands of angels. But the funny thing is just anyone can wear those tuxes. Rose tuxedos are one of those making that possible. However, we have been doing that for a long time and also do it best, with extra spices here and there to make any one look all-round dapper.

We understand your need to look outstanding like the Frontline commando of the army of dapper men in suits. So we do our best to make a trainload of choices of tuxes and suits available to you. As opposed to buying them, we’ve put together a small but inexhaustible list of reasons why renting a tuxedo or suit is the way to go.

Job interviews: Rent a suit if you have an interview for a company that requires formal attire but you don’t want to spend the money for a whole suit until you have that cushy job or you just really want to impress them with how amazing you look in a suit (and be honest, who doesn’t look and feel amazing in a tuxedo or nice suit?).

Office parties: We all know what happens at the work Christmas party stays at the work Christmas party.  That is until the morning and you have to get your suit cleaned. Rent an extra snazzy suit or tux to impress your boss and by renting you won’t have to find closet space for it between big shindigs.

Hot date at a 5 star restaurant: If you are trying to impress a classy lady by taking her out to eat at the swankiest place in town, you have to dress the part. At Rose Tuxedo, we have accessories to match nearly any color, so you can match her dress, your car, or the color of the napkins in the restaurant.

Class reunions: No matter what clique or niche you fit into during school, a tuxedo rental from us will make you look like a million bucks! Make your ex-girlfriends regret leaving you for the football quarterback by looking like you stepped out of a James Bond movie.

Any time you just want to look fancy! Who says you need a special event to look nice? No one looks awful in a suit or tuxedo. Sure, it might be weird if you rent a tux just for laughs, but it’s none of our business why you rent from us. If you want some professi  onal head shots taken while you try out your skills in acting, who knows? Our tuxes might make you the next NPH.

By no means is this a comprehensive list of reasons to own, rent, or enjoy a suit. We stand by our products and wish you the best in your endeavors, because we’ll do our part by making you look the best you will ever look.

After you’ve made your tuxedo arrangements, you might want to know when to do your haircut. It matters a lot to completing your look.

My Big day Preparation: When Should You Cut Your Hair?

Tags :

Looking your best is a delicate business. Standing out and making an excellent impression is some sort of an art. A lot of thoughts and considerations has to go into making you appear as dapper as you could ever be. That’s why having experience and an observant eye is a valuable asset in the art of looking good. Whether it be your wedding or prom, you always want to look your best. If not for anything but for the sake of standing out in group photos.

Men's tuxedo can transform your looks for the best

Men’s tuxedo can transform your looks for the best

In this post, we are going to discuss something that’s quite a source of dilemma on the big day: When should you have your haircut? If you’re a guy getting ready for prom or your wedding night, congratulations! This is a giant moment in your life and you certainly want to look your best. This is why you’ve probably already booked your groom tux or prom tuxedo. However, the one thing that you might be unsure about is when you should get your hair cut leading up to the big day. Sure, you might have already asked your groomsman, but even he might not have a great answer for you. Here are some tips on how you should determine “when’s the best time to get your hair cut before the big day”, once you’ve already booked that prom or wedding tuxedo at Rose Tuxedo in Phoenix AZ or Mesa AZ.

Determine Your Cut Type – Cuts for men, contrary to popular belief, are similar to cuts for women in the sense that no two are alike. You should consider this when planning for when to get your hair cut in relation to your big day. If you do a simple, short style, then you should get your hair cut a few days leading up to the time you put on that rose tuxedo. If you rock a longer, shaggier style, then get your hair cut about two weeks leading up to your prom or wedding night.

Check Your Schedule – Any guy who’s going to prom or getting married is probably incredibly busy. In between getting fitted for your groom tux or prom tuxedo and making all of the necessary arrangements, you’re probably extremely pressed for time. This is why you should find a haircut time that fits in with your busy schedule.

Determine How Important Your Haircut Is – While a groom might need to ensure he gets his hair cut, a groomsman might not need to prioritize as much. If you are only a groomsman in your upcoming event, check with your stylist to determine whether or not you even really need a haircut in the weeks leading up to the big day. You might need one; however, your stylist might tell you that you’re good to go and don’t need to do anything else beyond the final fitting for your wedding tuxedo.

No matter what your big day consists of, you surely want to look your best. If you follow the above tips, you’re sure to look dapper on your big day. Whether you’re going to prom or getting married, be sure to enjoy your special evening. Check out our other blog posts here and enjoy amazing tips to keep on top of the fashion game.

Bar Mitzvah tradition and formal wear

Bar Mitzvah Tradition and formal Wear

The bar mitzvah ceremony and celebration is a sacred event in the Jewish culture. At the age of 13 a boy becomes committed to observing the commandments of Judaism. Bar mitzvah’s literal translation is “son of the commandments.” As with weddings, there is a lot of planning involved to prepare for a bar mitzvah. A local tuxedo specialist can help you and your guest with some nice Men’s formal attire if your thinking about it. bar-mitzvah-party-photos-family

Most bar mitzvahs are held during morning Shabbat services at synagogue. However, some are help on other days and some opt to hold a private bar mitzvah at different locations.

During the bar mitzvah men will wear a prayer shawl, also known as a tallit. The tallit serves as a reminder of the commandments of the Torah, and is reserved for Jews only. However, the kippah can be worn by all men, and in some synagogues, women as well. Wearing the kippah serves as an act of respect to God. barmitzvah

One can expect quite a bit of standing for certain prayers. Try to follow along in the siddur or prayerbook. The bar mitzvah child may lead in such prayers, and may provide a speech about part of the Torah.

Bar mitzvah parties can sometimes be elaborate events, and people often dress in a formal or semi-formal manner. The event can be held at private homes, synagogues, or event venues. Like a wedding reception, the bar mitzvah party varies in scope, and has a great celebratory atmosphere. It is common for guests to provide gifts. Some bar mitzvahs may have a band or a DJ that plays modern music, and the bar mitzvah child is sometimes raised on a chair. Meals range from several courses to buffet style with traditional Jewish dishes. The even can be formal and informal and sometimes wearing a suit or tuxedo to the occasion just show even more class and respect for the day. Rose Tuxedo has been renting suits and tuxedos for Bar Mitzvah for year in Phoenix AZ and the surrounding cities. barmitzvah2

At the party the bar mitzvah child often performs a candle lighting ceremony. He lights a candle honoring certain family members and friends. All in all, the bar mitzvah is a joyous and momentous occasion, and a key event in the life of a Jewish boy. tuxedo rental online

Is your tuxedo online delivery safe??

Try Rose Tuxedo Instead of Ordering Online

Yes, ordering online is convenient. Now days we commute to work, work long hours and rush to commitments ranging from family, friends, church, work, etc. We may make those commitments and get to our jobs on time, but we certainly don’t have the time to return those items if we have a deadline. Customers risk double charging, and the possibility of receiving the wrong product. Customer get retorts such as “we had computer problems”. One regular shopper ordered through a popular retail server and receives a suit with a hole on the side of the expensive piece. She had to go to the post office during her lunch break. Ordering online can be time consuming after all.

First, the cost of re-sending an ill fitting item affects your time and money. Waiting in line at the post office, UPS or FedEx is not what you had in mind when you ordered the product. This unfortunate incident happens often. Even though it’s not your fault, you are still the one who suffers.

Never came?

Where is my Tux?

I had a personal experience, I purchased somethings on Amazon and when my order was 2 days late I checked my order static online and it said my order was delivered but it never was or it was stolen from my front door. After doing  a little research with the delivery company and neighbors I realized my order was stolen from my house. Good thing it was only $36 dollars with of simple stuff and not a Wedding Tuxedo rental or Prom Tuxedo rental.

What was I thinking?

Next, the negative communication a buyer endures is critical to a customer’s buying experience. When you order online you want to believe the seller with every fiber in you. When you receive an item that’s opposite from a picture or conversation, you never want to use that company again.

If you need a Tuxedo, you might rethink purchasing a Tuxedo online. Imagine waiting for a delivery service to bring you your Tuxedo the day of the wedding. The panic and desperation can ruin the day. Or, suppose the Tuxedo doesn’t fit? Perhaps a seamstress will put you in front of his other customers to save your day. If you wish to avoid sticky predicaments, visit Rose Tuxedo.

Rose Tuxedo takes the anguish out of your important day, whether it’s your wedding, prom or formal dance. First, our three Phoenix locations make it easy to stop in, chose the best suit, vest or Tuxedo for your event. Next, you will get fitted by a professional. When you get a personal compliment from a sales person or another customer, you get feedback, not guesswork. You get immediate satisfaction while in the shop. Finally, you pick up your Tuxedo days before your event. Ordering a Tuxedo online can’t give you this!

Enjoy the professional and relaxing atmosphere at Rose Tuxedo. The versatility of our products, professionalism and prompt attention guarantee the customer a marvelous experience. 3 valley locations to service you 7 days a week.  Two Phoenix Tuxedo shop and one in Mesa AZ.
