Prom Suits 2017 the Experience

Prom Suits 2017 the Experience!!

Let me try and wake up some thoughts and ideas of every possible Prom goer and their parents, families and friends that do a lot of Prom supporting this time of year. We hear the old cliche’s all the time like “Video killed the radio star” “Yellow Pages are no more because of the internet” and so many more things that have changed over the years because of technologies and other events. Likewise for renting tuxedos on line, but think about this for a minute.

We still go to baseball games, basketball, football and hockey. Why? When we can watch the games on TV in the comfort of our own homes or at a bar or friends house. The refrigerator is 15 feet away, no crowds, tv replays, no parking issues or crowds. But guess what, we still go to the games for the EXPERIENCE.

Renting a tuxedo or suit should be looked at the same way as going to a game. You want to go in and touch it and feel it before you rent something that is suppose to make you look and feel good. Plus all the colors in the tux shop and all the great advice that a tuxedo specialist shares, you can’t beat this. Your mom might there helping you pick the right look and your date could be there saying that color will not match my dress. Good luck doing any of this ordering a tuxedo rental online and be prepared to pay way more for your tuxedo rental . Good luck getting it on time and most of all good luck having it fit right. At your local tuxedo specialist shop there should be someone there to help you make a great choice and a perfect fit and some really great price points. And change orders can happen while you wait but not when you get a box with a wrinkled tuxedo suit from the mail man or UPS.

Now you decided to rent a tux locally, good for you. But where do you begin. Do you Google Tuxedo shop near me or do you look up Tuxedo rental reviews on a site like Yelp or do you ask a friend. Navigating the business review world can be tricky because you know a lot of small businesses have asked friends and family to post a positive business review on a site for them. It’s the Tuxedo companies lively hood having customers come in and it’s how every small business pays it’s bills. Some companies don’t have time for that they are just trying to take care of the business they have and some are always trying to find more ways to bring in new business. Fake reviews are wrong! They ruin the internet for everyone, but your going somewhere to rent your Prom suit and your ready for the experience because ordering online is not your thing.

Most local tux shops are great most of the time and can be off their game slightly during the busy Prom and wedding season, so now it’s up to you to relax and enjoy the experience, yes, the experience. Your not ordering online and opening a tuxedo rental box in your living room by yourself, nope. Your standing in a room full of Prom Suits feeling the vibe and looking around and checking out others doing the same thing, awesome. Maybe you get lucky and find your unique look right away or maybe it takes you awhile but either way your feeling it and enjoying the moment because in life and it’s a once in a life time EXPERIENCE  and it’s all  yours and anyone that came with you. I’m jealous because I would love to do it all over again so please enjoy it for me.

At Rose Tuxedo I can tell you our reviews are real and were not perfect. We have 3 locations and the best Prom Suit rental prices and selection in Arizona. We love what we do and you will experience this when you come in. Thank you to all a head of time and have a great Prom. Be safe and love it all. www.rosetuxedo 85016, 85029 tux rentals or call us anytime 602 375-8280

Prom 2017

Make Prom 2017 Great for Everyone
Prom is easily one of the most anticipated events of high school. For most high school students, especially the young ladies, it is a magical night filled with beautiful dresses, elegant hairstyles, amazing decorations, and of course, dinner and dancing with that special someone. Given the anticipation that builds up for months, or maybe even years, over prom, it is easy to forget that it is just one night in your life. It is easy to forget that this one evening, while special, and important, will not define your character as you grow into adulthood. What will define your character as you grow into adulthood will be how you handle bumps in the road to prom, how you treat your date, how you treat fellow prom attendees, and perhaps most importantly, how you treat yourself.

Not everyone is going to have the same expectations, or aspirations, for prom. That is okay, in fact, it should be encouraged. The world is a big, amazing place, filled with millions of people with different expectations, and aspirations. That is what makes it miraculous. All of these people co-existing to make the world a better place for everyone, particularly young people growing into adulthood. Prom is a metaphor for that world that you are about to step into.

There will be girls that choose a ten-dollar, vintage, thrift-store dress, over an expensive gown from an exclusive boutique. Applaud their resourcefulness. Applaud their individuality. There will be girls that decide on a simple updo that they do themselves, instead of going to a trendy hair salon. Applaud their creativity. Applaud their do-it-yourself attitude. There will be guys that decide on a powder blue tuxedo with a ruffled shirt. Applaud their confidence. Applaud their uniqueness.
There will be guys that cannot afford to take their date to the most expensive restaurant before prom. Applaud their being thrifty. Applaud their doing the best that they can.

There will be girls that have an expensive gown from an exclusive boutique. Applaud their style. Applaud their eye for beauty. There will be girls with intricate hairstyles done by a trendy hair salon. Applaud their vision. Applaud their confidence to stand out. There will be guys in classic black tuxedos. Applaud their regal style. Applaud how handsome all guys look in a tuxedo. There will be guys that can afford to take their date to an expensive restaurant before prom. Applaud their ability to splurge once in awhile. Applaud them doing the best that they can. Also be careful with the Tuxedo Shops that offer $40 off your Prom Suits, it’s usually because their charging more to give you that discount.

Let prom be what you want it to be. Don’t let other people define your prom experience for you. Don’t try to define other people’s prom experience. It is a right of passage for everyone at the same time. Be kind, respect each other, marvel in each prom attendees uniqueness, individuality, and contribution to the evening. Prom is a magical evening that will be gone too quickly. The memories however will stay with you for a lifetime. Help foster amazing memories for everyone. Help everyone that attends have a memory that they will look back on years from now and cherish. Have fun, be safe, and don’t forget, if you know a handsome gentleman looking for the perfect prom tuxedo, Rose Tuxedo has been renting for prom since 1982. We also rent lady tuxedos if you know a beautiful young lady looking for something a bit different than a traditional prom dress. Call us anytime for your Prom Suit. 602 957-0089

Top 3 reasons why going stag to prom is not a bad idea cheap tux rentals

Tags :

Spring is here and this means that prom season is almost upon us. Rose Tuxedo has you cheap tux rentals. This end of high school party is usually attended in couples, but we are here to tell you that going to prom on your own is not at all a bad idea. In fact, it might even be better than bringing along a date. You may not realizing it, but going stag to prom might actually be a lot more entertaining, and here are the top 3 reasons why we say this:

  1. You have fewer responsibilities

When you get a date for prom, there are certain things that are expected from you, especially if you are a guy. It all starts from the moment you ask someone to prom, which needs to be memorable, and ends with the night of the actual prom.

Emerson

However, the in between is the complicated part, where you have to make sure that every little detail is perfect. Apart from worrying about getting yourself a prom tux, you also need to rent the limo, find the perfect corsage and even make dinner reservations. In other words, if you would have had a date, you would have had a lot of things on your plate right now.

  1. You have more opportunities

If you were to go to prom with a date, you would have had to focus exclusively on her or on him. Going to prom by yourself means that you can equally divide your attention to more than one person. In other words, you might not have a date for prom, but you might end up having one at the end of the night. All you need is an amazing looking prom tux, a few dances and you are good to go!

Anyone at that prom would be lucky to have you interested in them, and you know it. So it should also be time to show it! Pick the greatest prom tux that you have seen, go in there with confidence and sweep everyone off of their feet. It is your time to shine, so let yourself be admired and appreciated.

  1. You can make it about your friends

A Rose Tux Wedding

If you are not interested in playing the field and going alone to prom was a choice, not the lack of choices, then this is the perfect reason to make this night all about your friends. You can enjoy each other’s company, have fun and make wonderful memories. Years from now you will remember how you danced in your friends in your amazing looking prom tux and how you all had a great time together.

No matter what are the reasons, going stag to prom can definitely be a great thing. The first step, however, is picking out the right prom tux for you. So come by Rose Tuxedo and let us help you out! You will surely find what you are looking for.

How much is it to rent a tux for Prom?

How much is it to rent a tux for prom? Rent prom tuxedo at Rose Tuxedo and save over $80
Rose Tuxedo offers prom specials for as low as $69, but typically a prom night tux rental costs $100-$160 complete. This is not always the case at the Big Box Men’s Formal Wear stores. Do to their high over head cost some of their tuxedo rentals will run well over $200, almost the cost to buy a tuxedo. Most guys typically pay for his and his date’s dinner and the Prom Tickets. Limos are popular at many schools, and couple’s can share the ride and it can cost around $35-$50 or more per hour. Why not save money on your prom tuxedo rental and find a cheap tux rental? Well, you can. Shop small, shop local tuxedo rental shops that have lower over head and better service and you can save over $100 on your Tuxedo rental compared to Men’s Ware home. At Rose Tuxedo our Prom Tuxedo and Prom suit rental prices are very transparent as they should be. Why should you have to go down the list of Designer Tux mannequins in the big box tux shops and have them say, this tux is $150, this tux is $180 ect and then they go through the menu of options like a restaurant, if you’d like a Pocket square it’s $10 more or shoes ect. Rose Tuxedo tries to keep this simple and with very few extras, but there are some. Here is a example of our pricing. You must also remember that Prom Tuxedo rental pricing around the USA will be different from big cities like New York to small towns in Colorado to Arizona Tuxedo rentals. At Rose Tuxedo we like to think we have all the big city designer tuxedo rentals at the small town prices. Renting tux is easy.
1. Classic Collection Prom Tuxedo Rentals- Over 10 different designer Tuxedo rentals all one price $99.95, includes designer tux jacket, pants, shirt, choice of in stock vest and tie or bow, plus tax and waiver
2. Premier Collection Prom Tuxedo rentals- $149 Complete, Grey Tuxedos, White Tux, Slim Fit tux, Slim fit pants, skinny tuxedo pants and more~~plus tax and waiver
Why doesn’t every tuxedo shop make their tuxedo rental process that easy!!!! *black shirts and slim fit pants extra but not much. We offer an additional $10 off coupons on our Tuxedo Special page and other locations online.

How much does it cost to go to prom?White La strada

The average cost is around $400 some surveys have said and at the time I thought that was kind of extravagant, but it turns out the girls who are attending prom this year pay a lot more than the guys. A new survey from Visa found that on average, families will spend $1,139 on prom this year so why not save when you can and renting a tuxedo from a small local tuxedo shop can help you do that. Going to Prom is a great way for every young high school student to enjoy their Junior and Senior year and most parents welcome their children to go but at Rose Tuxedo we know it’s no cheap to go to prom and if we can save you money and some of our preferred vendors like Limo companies and Fine dining Restaurant coupon we will. I know for a fact that renting your tuxedo from a local tuxedo shop that carries their tuxedos in-stock can save you lot’s of money on a rental, usually half from what the big companies charge. If you rent a tuxedo at Rose Tuxedo you will still have money to buy the tickets, dinner and pictures compared to renting at the Big Men’s Formal Wear stores, no joke, it’s a lot of savings. And your Tuxedo at Rose Tuxedo is no cheap tuxedo as far as quality and that can be said about all small tuxedo shops, great quality at great tux rental prices.

Manny tuxedo shops offer a $40 off coupon for a tuxedo rental but how much are they charging you to begin with? At Rose Tuxedo our prices are listed right when you walk in with no funny business. We do have some premium charges for Tuxedos we don’t own and get from a catalog but most of the time our customers find a awesome designer tuxedo at a great price. Even white tuxedos and grey tuxedos. Sometimes you can even get lucky and shop at thrift stores and maybe find a nice tuxedo, vintage even. But trust me on the $40 off coupons from the big box stores, it’s usually $40 off a $250 tuxedo rental so you still pay $210, go and see and please email me direct if I’m not kidding. asbrocca4@aol.com     Black Troy

How much does it cost to buy a new tuxedo?
The answer depends on where you go and what you need to consider is the financial question: If you’ll wear the tuxedo more than three times in the next few years then maybe it pays to buy it. The price to buy a tuxedo can be around $1,000 new and $400 used and tuxedo rentals can run approximately $200 each and more from the big box stores and around $100 from the local small tuxedo shops. It maybe something to consider buying if you will use it multiple times. I graduated in 1982 and my high school day were much cheaper (and my Uncle owned President Tuxedo’s in Michigan) What would my parents have said if I asked for $1,000 for the dance and all the expenses associated with it? Hmmm, I may not be going but if I could rent a tuxedo at Rose Tuxedo for a $100 that would save them big and help with all the other cost with going to prom.

The dress. The shoes. The flowers. The jewelry. The makeup. The transportation. The photo package. Who knew prom had the potential to cost as much as some people’s weddings? You’ve got a little bit of time to plan, think, shop and save.

Prom season kicks off around mid-April and continues through early to mid-June in some parts of the country. Most prom nights will fall some time in May. The following tips can help you prepare your budget in advance of the big night. For the ladies it’s about picking the right dress, shoes and make up and accessories. Guys, your lucky!! It’s about picking out a nice designer tuxedo rental at a great price that won’t break the bank. Most rentals come with shoes and a fashion full back vest to match the color of your dates dress. The ladies could easily drop $150 or more to get yourself professionally ready. The expense of hair, makeup and nails could easy cost as much as one Tuxedo rental for prom.

Formal prom portraits can be nice to have, but they can cost $25 to $75 depending on the size and number of photos you buy. Since many digital cameras take great pictures you maybe able to save on this and not stand in line early to get photos. prom tuxedo

To rent a limo or not to rent a limo?

Most have 4-hour minimums and also require tipping, so you and your friends should come up with a total cost estimate and then divide that amount by the maximum number of people you’re allowed to squeeze into the limo. But be ready this is not cheap but it is fun and safe. Something to consider when you rent your Tuxedo from a small local tuxedo shop because you will save over a $100 per tux rental sometimes. (put that towards the limo rental fee) Don’t ever be afraid to ask for a discount from all these vendors and explain any hard ship you maybe having, we want you to go to prom, it’s fun and great memories so if we can save you a few dollars I promise all of us Prom Vendors will do it.

Shop around for a tuxedo that’s all I can say. Prom boys

Guys, here’s the tip for you: A tuxedo rental can set you back $75 to $100 or more at a small local tuxedo rental shop, so take the time to call several tux rental shops over the phone to compare prices before deciding where to go. Since you probably don’t rent a tuxedo that often be sure the shop will give you all the accessories you’ll need: the designer tux itself, shirt, vest or cummerbund, (if needed a front pocket), shoes, tie or bow tie. Do a quick Google Search in your area and make some calls to local tuxedo rental shops, the price may seem high but it will surely be less than the Big Chain stores and probably much better service and selection. Be careful with the “tuxedo rental prices starting at” this could just be a simple classic tux in the corner of a shop and then big tux rental fees from a catalog. Going to Prom is not cheap but one of the items (tux) needed to attend doesn’t have to cost you the price to purchase when your only renting. An most importantly to all, have fun and be safe, that’s all us Tuxedo Specialist and other vendors want. www.rosetuxedo.com

Getting (And Keeping) A Prom Date

Tags :

mw discountSometimes the hardest part about getting ready for prom is acquiring a date. If you’re a lucky fella with a lovely girlfriend who you’ll still stand by in May or June you’ve got it easy. But for those unlucky guys without a guaranteed date it can be tough to get (and keep) a prom date.

Don’t wait until the week or prom to start asking girls—many of them will already have a date or assume they were your last choice—so start deciding and asking once the date has been announced (or a month in advance, at least).

  1. Look the part when you ask her: Put on your best pair of jeans and a nice sweater or shirt—don’t ask her when you’ve just gotten out of gym and are still wearing your gross PE trainers. This isn’t a wedding proposal, but you can still make it special. Prom is a big deal to young girls.
  2. Let her pick the color: Find out ASAP what color her dress will be so you can find a way to match. It may sound dumb because you don’t see a problem with wearing a classic black and white tux outfit, but matching may be important to her. It’s a nice way to tell people you came together as part of a plan, not that you just met up at the dance and happened to be dancing together or hanging out. You can go simple with a matching tie or pocket square, or bolder with a matching jacket, cummerbund, or shirt. Rose Tuxedo offers all of the popular colors found in prom dresses in various pieces of suits and tuxedos.

If we don't own it will buy it.

If we don’t own it we’ll buy it.

  3. Be on time: Do not pick her up late. This is Prom suicide. She’ll be angry with you the entire time. Show up early. It shows you’re excited.
  4. Pick somewhere nice for dinner: You’ll be in a suit or a tuxedo so don’t try to pass off McDonalds as a fancy meal. This isn’t to say you need to go to a 5 star Italian restaurant, but at least spring for a decent chain restaurant.
  5. Don’t be afraid to ask her to go dutch: If you and your date aren’t a couple, it wouldn’t hurt to ask if she’d be willing to pitch in for the limousine (or town car) or dinner. You pay for your outfit, she pays for hers, so it’s only fair that you both pay for everything else together.
  6. Have fun: No matter who you go with or where you go beforehand, have fun at prom. Be safe, make sane decisions, but have fun. Dance with your friends, don’t get jealous if someone else wants to dance with your date (it’s just a dance, after all) and don’t feel as if you must spend the entire evening just with your date. It’s your night too and you both have friends outside of each other. Make this a night to remember and look amazing while you’re at it with a little help from Rose Tuxedo.
