Bridal Show in Phoenix, AZ

Since June is usually the unofficial end of the wedding season in the Phoenix metropolis, this is when summer begins in this area of the country, outdoor celebrations start to wane. Maybe that’s why there are three, that’s right, three bridal shows during the month of June .Maybe the wedding experts know that this is a good time to begin planning a beautiful, and cool, fall or winter wedding. You engaged ladies can look at these shows as a chance to get all your matrimonial eggs in one basket. If you bring a friend or two, or all your bridesmaids, you can count on having plenty of fun!  Here’s a tip from the wedding planners’ handbook.  Wear a one-piece bathing suit under your regular clothes to make trying on marked down wedding dresses much easier, and less revealing, if you know what we mean. (Here’s the secret, most all Wedding Businesses will honor their bridal show special even if you didn’t attend the show -shhhhhh! Just ask)

There will be nearly 4,000 square feet of showroom dedicated to wedding gowns.  Gowns will be selling for up to 50% , and brides can try on, purchase and take home right there on the spot.  And, get this…the first 400 brides who walk through the doors will receive free hors d’oeuvres and a rose.  And, as if that were not enough, there will be 150 vendors, fashion shows at 11:30 and 1:30, and an open bar which will be sure to keep all the 500 brides, bridesmaids, and 2,000 guests at the show entertained and happy.

Here are a few stats to keep for reference:

Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, 340 N. Third St.

Tuxedo Styles for Wedding

Tuxedo Styles

tuxedo bride and groomHere’s the thing about tuxedos.  In this day and time, as we have told you before, the old rules do not necessarily apply.  You can accentuate your personal style in many ways.  Now, by that we do not mean being sloppy, figuratively or literally.  If you’re going to make it your own, do it with some style, some coolness factor, and some elegance.

So, you’ve gotten an invitation for a wedding in June.  This will probably not be the last invitation you get either.  You might be going as a guest; you might be a groomsman; or, hey, you may be the groom, but we’re probably not talking to you right now, because the bride has already told you what you will be wearing, and that really goes for the groomsmen, as well.

This is going to be the time when you can pull out all the stops and have fun while looking sharp as heck.  What you are going for is the most stylish, celebratory, and handsome version of yourself you can accomplish.  The least casual you can go is a suit (dressy or casual, depending on the venue), and otherwise a tuxedo.  All the clothes we are going to suggest will work, but be sure to look carefully at the “attire specifications” on the invitation.

One look that we think is really happening is the shawl collar tuxedo.  But, here’s the thing, you could style it like a suit.  We know, sounds radical, but if it fits perfectly, and you choose the right accessories, it could be right on.  Try a colorful bow tie, suede shoes, and for that Big Apple look, suede shoes with no socks.  We know, your mom just fainted.

One of the easiest ways to make your tux come alive is to leave the white shirt on the hanger and go for a brightly colored shirt.  Think powder blue, pink, gray, or tan.  And, yes, you can always know that polished, black lace-ups are a perfect match for a tuxedo.  But, who said everything had to be a perfect match?  The big city boys are wearing suede slipper loafers in different colors, and the look is hot.  Then you can pair them with your fancy jeans after the occasion.

Hold onto your hats, because this next suggestion is going to knock your socks off, if you are wearing any.   Charcoal gray and dark blue are good suit colors, but just the right plaid suit could also make a very good statement.  It’s young; it’s daring; it’s fun.  Pair it with a different patterned tie and pocket handkerchief!

More and more men are wearing khaki suits to weddings, and that’s a good choice.  You can be dressed up and cool as a cucumber, all at the same time.  Boat shoes, a pocket square and a patterned bow tie will pull it all together.

Guess what?  You do not have to go to one of those stuffy, corny big box stores, like Men’s Warehouse.  Rose Tuxedo in Phoenix can take care of all of this for you.  Their prices will always be below the big box’s price.  Call or come in, they are waiting to help you, and they know all about these cool new looks.

Wedding Tuxedo Rentals, Phoenix

Wedding Tuxedo Rentals, Phoenix

Wedding Tuxedo RentalsThere is only one place to choose when it comes to wedding tuxedo rentals in the greater Phoenix area and that’s Rose Tuxedo.  Generally, the groom and the wedding party, speaking of the men, of course, wear tuxedos.  Rose Tuxedo of Phoenix  has been doing wedding tuxedo rentals for three decades and has tuxedos of every type, style, color and size.  You name it; they’ve got it.

Rose carries in their huge warehouses (no, not Men’s Warehouse, which will be at least $40 more than Rose’s price) the following:

  • Tuxedos
  • Dinner Jackets
  • Tuxes of every color, texture and pattern
  • Two, three, and three button tuxes
  • Notched lapel tuxedos
  • Satin or grosgrain lapels
  • Silkened striped trousers
  • Bow ties
  •  Cumberbunds
  • Tuxes with tails
  • White ties
  • Suits
  • Morning coats and vest
  • Vests
  • Neckties
  • Shoes

As you can tell, you have many choices and plenty of deciding to do.  In Arizona, it is not unusual for men to go with a Western wear suit.  Rose has those, too.  Not only all of this, but Rose Tuxedo also pledges to match any bridal color from any bridal shop in the country.   One more thing, Rose Tuxedos rents men’s suits.  Whatever the style of the wedding; whatever the bride wants; whatever the time of day, Rose Tuxedo is just a call away. Do you know what this will mean to your bride?  She will be more than delighted.

When you rent from Rose Tuxedo, which is handily close wherever you live in the Phoenix area, you have the confidence that you will get what you want; that it is going to fit you like a glove; that you will have all the necessary accessories; and that you will look like a million dollars at the event itself. Go with the tried and true wedding tuxedos rental company of Phoenix.  You will be treated like a friend.

Don’t worry if you have groomsmen who will be coming from out-of-town.  They can send in their measurements (most tuxedo rental stores will do this at no cost as a complementary exchange for other tuxedo stores) so that the store can put aside a tux that is close to the right size for the out-of-towners.  A few days before the wedding, they can go to the nearest location of Rose’s and have the last minute alterations done on the spot.

It’s not often that you have at your disposal a company that is invested in providing the best service and the best prices to its customers.  That describes Rose Tuxedo to a “t”.  Give them a try and see what good service and long-time experience is all about.  You and your bride deserve it.

Wedding Tuxedo Rental

Wedding Tuxedo RentalPlanning for a wedding is great fun, a most memorable time, and a little crazy.  Most brides and grooms give themselves close to a year to decide on a venue and get it reserved.  They need that much time to have folks save the date.  There is registering for gifts, asking friends to be part of the wedding party and there are  honeymoon plans to make, as well.  There is also the tux rental to take care of.  If you live in the greater Phoenix area, you are in luck.  Rose Tuxedo has been a fixture in the formalwear world for over 30 years.  If anybody knows how to take care of wedding tuxedos, it’s Rose Tuxedo.

Tux rental does not have to be a hassle.  In fact, Rose makes it as simple as possible.  First of all, their prices are going to be at least $40 less than Men’s Warehouse.  Next, they are experts at fitting men in whatever style, type, color, or size is needed for the big day.  The wedding party does not need to add an extra worry to the already elaborate and sometimes tedious nature of planning for such an important event.  This is a time when reputation, reliability, and trustworthiness becomes more important than ever.  A wedding can be overwhelming; tuxedo rental does not have to add to the problem.  Rose Tuxedo has wedding planners that have done all of this many times before.  Their knowledge and experience is going to impress you.  You can rest assured of that.

Wedding tuxedo rental at Rose’s goes like this:

1. You meet with the coordinators at the Rose location nearest to you.

2. You decide on the what look you want for the wedding attendants.

3.  The Rose Tuxedo staff will show you the many options you have regarding formality, color, complementary colors, shoes, and accessories they have to offer you.

4.  Once these decisions are made, you then discuss when the groom and his groomsmen will come to have their wedding wear fitted (usually several day before the wedding so their are no last minute jitters).

5. Rose will gather the number and type of tuxes or suits you have requested.

6. They will pull the chosen types and sizes in ample time to accommodate the fittings which will be necessary closer to the wedding date.

7.  3 to 5 days before the wedding, the Rose staff will fit the men and make any alterations that are needed.

8.  The suits or tuxes will be picked up the day of the wedding, unless other plans are made.

9.  The wedding goes off without a hitch.

10.  The men return their tuxes the next Rose Tuxedo business day.

That is how simple it is.  Choose a hometown rental company that knows how to take care of Arizona residents.  You’ll be delighted that you did.

It’s Wedding Tuxedo Time

Tags :

Wedding Tuxedo

Wedding TuxedoIt’s wedding time and that means it is time to line up a tuxedo for the groom and, of course,  tuxedos for the groomsmen.   It is also possible that some weddings will include wedding tuxedo for the family members of both the bride and the groom.  On the other hand, it may be that the bride and groom prefer for the men to wear dress suits.  Either way, the time may be drawing nearer to give Rose Tuxedo of Phoenix a call to discuss your wedding plans.  Did you know that Rose has wedding coordinators on staff to assist you in all aspects of your upcoming event?  They most certainly do, and they will be happy to set up an appointment for the bride and groom and any family or friends who would like to be a part of the planning.  These members of the Rose Tuxedo family are well versed in everything to do with weddings.

Whether you decide on a tux or a suit, Rose can rent you what you want and for about $40 less than the big chain menswear stores, like Men’s Warehouse. Rose pledges to always have better prices than the big guys.  Not only can they beat their prices, but they can guarantee that you have the size, the fit, the type, and shoes to go with any tuxedo or men’s suit you choose for the big day.  No matter which of the three convenient locations you decide to use, you will find the same great service and the same hospitality.

Although, historically, formal dress for men meant a tuxedo of some type, today some grooms and brides are opting for a dress suit for the men in the wedding.  Men’s suits for weddings range from black, to shades of gray, to shades of tan.  It may be that the bride or groom would like to modify the suit by adding a complementary color to match the chosen bridesmaids’ dress colors.  They may choose to match or complement the color by way of a tie, a pocket handkerchief, or their boutonnieres.  No matter what the final choice may be, Rose tuxedo can make it happen.

To be absolutely sure that you have exactly what you want for your wedding day, it is a wise idea to make an appointment with  the friendly folks at any one of the Rose Tuxedo store locations (4031 North 24th Street #C, Phoenix; 10625 North 35th Avenue #B, Phoenix;  1245 W. Baseline Rd., Mesa, Arizona). Once everything has been chosen, Rose Tuxedo will take it from there.  They will have the clothing ready to fit several days before the wedding.  They might ask for the out-of-town members of the wedding party send in their measurements so that they can get a head start on making sure any alterations will be minimal.

You can see that using a home town  entity like Rose Tuxedo can save you money, time, and worry.  Call them soon.
