Your Groom Looks Forward to These in the Wedding Preparations

Tags :

It is common knowledge that it’s the bride who usually takes charge of the wedding preparations. Although it depends on the couple’s decision, the task usually falls under the sole proprietorship of the bride.

But even though this is what occurs in wedding planning , it doesn’t always mean that the groom is uninterested. There are some areas of the wedding where he is secretly excited about. By knowing what these areas are, brides can have their fiancé join in on the wedding planning .

The groom is keen about the preparations and looks forward to the following:

Cake

While he may not express the same concern on your decision between buttercream vs. fondant, it doesn’t mean that he isn’t interested in the cake. As a matter of fact, he will enjoy the cake testing part of the wedding planning as he will get to try out the cake too. Once he has tried the options, he will be able to give his consent on which one tasted better for him.

Getaway Car

Considering that most guys are into cars, the decision of picking out a bridal car will be something that he would want to be involved in. He will have an idea of which car he would like to use for your wedding day so make sure you listen to his opinion.

Music

If your fiancé loves music, he will be interested in sharing his playlist selection. Make sure you allow him to choose the songs that he would like to be played during the reception. This way, he can dance along to the song that he likes listening to best.

Honeymoon

Another area of your wedding planning that your fiancé can help out with is the honeymoon. Without you knowing it, he may already be thinking of ways he can surprise you during your out of town trip. This is why you should let him be involved in the planning of your honeymoon.

Tuxedo

Just like you, your groom will want to look his best during your wedding day. Oh well, who doesn’t? This is why he will take into consideration the look of his tuxedo and how well it will fit him. After all, it’s his wedding day too!

If you’re on the lookout for a tuxedo rental for your fiancé, feel free to visit our collection on options he can choose from! We can help him dress up nicely for the most important events in his life.

Best man in search of bridesmaid – how to meet your SO at a wedding!

Tags :

Summer weddings are great if you have a date and have nothing to do with actually organizing the event. Otherwise, you might end up at the singles table, being forced to repeatedly dance with the bride’s 8 year old cousin, because she’s all cute and everything. However, the fact that you do not have a date to a wedding, might actually be in your advantage. Acfter all, you might end up meeting someone there. Here are a few tips on how to turn such an event from a failure to a great hit.

You need to look good

The first thing you need to do at any wedding is to make sure that you look absolutely great. Get yourself a haircut, make sure that your tie or bowtie look amazing, make sure that you get a perfectly fitting tuxedo or suit from Rose Tuxedo, make sure that you have the right accessories and so on. If you have no experience with these things and with getting ready for a wedding, you should know that Rose Tuxedo has a professional tailor on site who can definitely help you out in making the tough decisions. In other words, all you need to do is make sure that you are decent looking otherwise and that you smell great, because that is always something that girls appreciate.

You need to know your audience

Anyways, now that you have everything set and you look sharp, it is time to properly assess the situation. This means that the first half an hour or even an hour you need to spend it figuring out who is single and who is not. Of course, you should also check out your competition to see what you are dealing with. Once you have determined and singled out the singles, all you need to do is mingle. Make sure to be sociable and to talk to everyone. You can make compliments, but not too many. The key here is to show moderate interest, not to overwhelm everyone with your attention.

You need to be patinet

One other thing that you probably already knew, but should keep in mind is the fact that everyone reacts in a positive way when they meet someone who is a good listener. You can ask questions, but not too personal ones and make sure that you find out her name and who she is friends with: the bride or the groom. The key here is not necessarily for you to start being a couple right away. You can definitely play it cool now, when you first meet, just to surprise her with a call a couple of days later.  Your chances will exponentially grow if you give her some time to figure you out and to figure out how she feels about you.

That being said, good luck with finding the perfect girl, and don’t forget to come by Rose Tuxedo to get the perfect suit or tuxedo for the wedding.

Bridal Show in Phoenix, AZ

Since June is usually the unofficial end of the wedding season in the Phoenix metropolis, this is when summer begins in this area of the country, outdoor celebrations start to wane. Maybe that’s why there are three, that’s right, three bridal shows during the month of June .Maybe the wedding experts know that this is a good time to begin planning a beautiful, and cool, fall or winter wedding. You engaged ladies can look at these shows as a chance to get all your matrimonial eggs in one basket. If you bring a friend or two, or all your bridesmaids, you can count on having plenty of fun!  Here’s a tip from the wedding planners’ handbook.  Wear a one-piece bathing suit under your regular clothes to make trying on marked down wedding dresses much easier, and less revealing, if you know what we mean. (Here’s the secret, most all Wedding Businesses will honor their bridal show special even if you didn’t attend the show-shhhhhh! Just ask)

There will be nearly 4,000 square feet of showroom dedicated to wedding gowns.  Gowns will be selling for up to 50% , and brides can try on, purchase and take home right there on the spot.  And, get this…the first 400 brides who walk through the doors will receive free hors d’oeuvres and a rose.  And, as if that were not enough, there will be 150 vendors, fashion shows at 11:30 and 1:30, and an open bar which will be sure to keep all the 500 brides, bridesmaids, and 2,000 guests at the show entertained and happy.

Here are a few stats to keep for reference:

Tuxedo Styles for Wedding

Tuxedo Styles

tuxedo bride and groomHere’s the thing about tuxedos.  In this day and time, as we have told you before, the old rules do not necessarily apply.  You can accentuate your personal style in many ways.  Now, by that we do not mean being sloppy, figuratively or literally.  If you’re going to make it your own, do it with some style, some coolness factor, and some elegance.

So, you’ve gotten an invitation for a wedding in June.  This will probably not be the last invitation you get either.  You might be going as a guest; you might be a groomsman; or, hey, you may be the groom, but we’re probably not talking to you right now, because the bride has already told you what you will be wearing, and that really goes for the groomsmen, as well.

This is going to be the time when you can pull out all the stops and have fun while looking sharp as heck.  What you are going for is the most stylish, celebratory, and handsome version of yourself you can accomplish.  The least casual you can go is a suit (dressy or casual, depending on the venue), and otherwise a tuxedo.  All the clothes we are going to suggest will work, but be sure to look carefully at the “attire specifications” on the invitation.

One look that we think is really happening is the shawl collar tuxedo.  But, here’s the thing, you could style it like a suit.  We know, sounds radical, but if it fits perfectly, and you choose the right accessories, it could be right on.  Try a colorful bow tie, suede shoes, and for that Big Apple look, suede shoes with no socks.  We know, your mom just fainted.

One of the easiest ways to make your tux come alive is to leave the white shirt on the hanger and go for a brightly colored shirt.  Think powder blue, pink, gray, or tan.  And, yes, you can always know that polished, black lace-ups are a perfect match for a tuxedo.  But, who said everything had to be a perfect match?  The big city boys are wearing suede slipper loafers in different colors, and the look is hot.  Then you can pair them with your fancy jeans after the occasion.

Hold onto your hats, because this next suggestion is going to knock your socks off, if you are wearing any.   Charcoal gray and dark blue are good suit colors, but just the right plaid suit could also make a very good statement.  It’s young; it’s daring; it’s fun.  Pair it with a different patterned tie and pocket handkerchief!

More and more men are wearing khaki suits to weddings, and that’s a good choice.  You can be dressed up and cool as a cucumber, all at the same time.  Boat shoes, a pocket square and a patterned bow tie will pull it all together.

Guess what?  You do not have to go to one of those stuffy, corny big box stores, like Men’s Warehouse.  Rose Tuxedo in Phoenix can take care of all of this for you.  Their prices will always be below the big box’s price.  Call or come in, they are waiting to help you, and they know all about these cool new looks.
